The gameplay in Aureus is quite uncommon, and this is due to the paylines that are in operation. First of all, the gameplay takes place on a 3-reel, 5-row play grid, meaning the grid is taller than it is wide, which is also uncommon. However, Aureus does not operate with any typical paylines, and the symbol combinations are decided by different brackets which randomly surround symbols.
