Founded in 2015, Las Vegas-based Wild Streak Gaming focuses on developing high-quality online slot games for the iGaming market. Their partnership with premier slots developer Pragmatic Play (also founded in 2015) has led to successfully popular titles like the jungle-themed Congo Cash and the horror-inspired Devilicious slot, not to mention this Fire Stampede title. In 2021, the company was acquired by the BRAGG Gaming Group, although that has not precluded the company from working with Pragmatic Play.
Fire Stampede Game Design
Fire Stampede is a 6-reel, 5-row online casino game with 1,875 paylines and a maximum win of just over 4,000x the stake; the aim is to land winning symbol combinations with the help of the various bonus features and symbols.
The action in Fire Stampede occurs on the arid Arizona landscape with a flame-engulfed buffalo about to stampede and break through the screen. Above the buffalo are the Minor, Major and Grand jackpot prizes. The larger-than-usual game grid takes up most of the real estate. The play table features 5 regular reels and a sixth one filled only with special symbols.
Accompanying the visuals is a laid-back country soundtrack that perfectly encapsulates the North American theme, accompanied by the usual sound effects when spinning the reels, landing symbols in view, etc.

The Fire Stampede slot also has its share of bonus symbols. The Wild symbol appears on reels 2 - 4 and substitutes for regular-paying symbols. The Sheriff Badge Scatter triggers the Free Spins feature. The Connect & Collect symbol triggers the feature of the same name. Connect & Collect FeatureTriggering the Connect & Collect feature requires linking a chain of Connect & Collect Symbols along reels 1 - 5 until they connect with a special symbol in reel 3 or 6. Doing that can award the following:
- Respins (reel 3 special position only) = players get 5 respins; Any Connect & Collect symbols in view get held in place; all other symbol positions in reels 2 - 5 respin
- Money Value = takes on a random value from a predetermined set of 2x - 800x the stake; pays out if reached via a connection chain
- Jackpots = reaching a Jackpot (Minor, Major or Grand) via a connection chain awards 50x, 200x and 4,000x the stake
- Add Wilds = adds random Wild symbols on reels 2 - 5 if reached via a connection chain
- Free Spins = triggers the Free Spins bonus round and awards 5, 8, 10, 15, 20 or 25 free spins plus 2x the stake when reached via a connection chain
The feature is triggered by either chaining and collecting Free Spins symbols in the Connect & Collect feature or landing 3 - 5 Scatter symbols on the reels; this also awards 2x the total bet. In the former case, the Free Spins bonus round starts with whatever number of free spins awarded in the Connect & Collect feature. In the latter case, players get 7, 10 or 15 free spins from landing 3, 4 or 5 Scatters. The Connect & Collect feature is also available and works as it does in the base game - chaining and collecting Free Spins symbols awards more free spins.
Random AwardsThe Grand jackpot can land on any random base game spin. Wilds and Connect & Collect symbols can also land on random non-special positions on the reels in the base game.
