Wild SymbolThere is, of course, a Wild symbol which can substitute for all other base symbols to form combinations. Wild symbols also create Ice Frames when they land on the reels. If another Wild lands in an existing Ice Frame, it will add a multiplier of up to x8. This continues until the avalanches end.
Freezing FeaturesOn top of this, there are also freezing features, which can be activated randomly during base gameplay. These features include:
- Hailstorm - One symbol type is chosen at random, and 3 of the chosen symbols will have 5 random symbols adjacent to them, plus the chosen symbol transformed into Wilds or destroyed.
- Avalanche - An avalanche will destroy all instances of 2 symbol types, depositing 7 Wilds in their places.
- Blizzard - 7 symbols on the pattern are selected. Most symbols are destroyed, and some are transformed into Wilds.
Winning symbol combinations will fill the Ice Crystal Charger. Collect 20, 40, 60, and 80 symbols within 1 spin to activate the Ice Crystal features. For every 10 symbols after 80, the crystal will add 2 ice frames to the playgrid. The Ice Crystal features are as follows:
- Tail Lash - Transform all high-paying symbols into one type of high-paying symbol.
- Ice Scorch - Transforms 3 to 6 random symbols into Wilds.
- Destruction - Removes all low-paying symbols on the grid.
- Dragon Blast - All symbols with ice frames transform into Wilds, and all ice frame multipliers activate.
- Overcharged - Awards 2 ice frames.
