The camera in Torque presents a top-down view and looks into the hood/bonnet of an old-fashioned car. Its headlines and fender are visible across the bottom of the screen. This symbol expands to cover the entire reel should it participate in a win. Should the random symbol land on several reels, it will expand to cover all positions on those reels.
Free SpinsLanding 3, 4 or 5 Scatters on the reels awards 10, 15 or 20 free spins. A low-paying symbol (10, J or Q) gets chosen to become a Special symbol. The chosen symbol depends on the number of Scatters that triggered the feature.
Special symbols participate in wins just like regular symbols. The difference is each special symbol that lands gets collected in a meter in the top-left of the game grid, whether it participates in a win or not. Collecting 10 special symbols nets you 10 extra free spins. Also, the meter resets and the special symbol becomes the next one in the payable. So if the first special symbol was the number 10 playing card, the J then becomes the next special symbol, and so on.
Should the A playing card become the special symbol and 10 get collected on the meter, a random symbol becomes the new special symbol. If this appears in view after a free spin, it expands to cover the entire reel.
